Oh my goodness well what a relief! Just when I was about to send this blog post to Cass & Jye, I saw online that their beloved dog Ember had gone missing whilst they were on their honeymoon! Best news ever is that yesterday afternoon, after more than 48 hours missing, she was found thanks to friends sharing and papering suburbs with flyers. Ember is exhausted but she is ok so I'm excited to share this with everyone. Especially a very relieved fur-mum & Dad who have now returned to their honeymoon!
Well, what a huge honour to be flown over to the beautiful state of Victoria to photograph the wedding of Cass & Jye in Warrnambool. Getting to know both of their families in the days before the wedding made everything so much more personal and opened my eyes to how much love and effort went into their wedding. I met Cassie about ten or so years ago (probably more eek!) and we occasionally flow back into each others lives with our joint loves of surfing, skating and some incredible mutual friends, so it was so special to be able to be a part of this beautiful next step in her life and meant so much to me.
There were SO many amazing personal details the entire family & some special friends put so much effort into creating especially for their day. Jye's Mum Leanne basically landscaped their entire backyard for months to prepare for the intimate backyard ceremony which was surrounded with colourful flowers, curious Alpaccas, chickens and hand painted signs.. So much love was infused into everything that you see in the photos below.. My side kick for the day was my new friend Fabio Oliveira who made his way from Melbourne to help out. Thanks for being so much fun and for capturing some beautiful memories! Xx
